A new experimental MC-21-300 (tail number 73056, factory 0006) joined the test program at the Flight Research Institute in Zhukovsky.
The plane made flight from the factory airfield in Irkutsk, which lasted about 5 hours. When approaching the airfield, the crew made a high-speed approach over the runway, and made a steep left bend then landed.
Thus, already 4 MS-21 aircraft will take part in the tests. These aircraft are equipped with American PW1400G engines, but the next aircraft (serial number 0007) will be equipped with new Russian PD-14 engines.
