Biggest passenger airplane visited Saint Petersburg

On 25 of October for first time in history the biggest airliner of the world Airbus A380-800 of Emirates airline has arrived in Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg. In eve of school holidays the flagship of Emirates will make 4 flights from Dubai to Saint Petersburg and back from 25 till 28 of October 2018.

Airbus A380-800 of Emirates is double-deck wide-body aircraft, that has a three-class layout and is designed for 519 passengers. This airliner has 14 personal cabins in the First Class cabin, 76 fully convertible chairs in the Business Class cabin and 429 seats in the economy class cabin.

A380 of Emirates is known for its private cabins with shower cabins, available for First Class passengers, and the Onboard Lounge for First Class and Business Class passengers, where a big amount of drinks and canapés are offered. Economy-class clients can comfortably sit in comfortable chairs with a step of more than 83 centimeters. Ice, an Emirates 13 award-winning infotainment system, offers a choice of 3,500 channels, including Russian content channels. All passengers can use free Wi-Fi and stay connected to Internet in the flight. Emirates customers can carry up to 35 kg in Economy Class, 40 kgg in Business Class and 50 in First Class.

The Emirates route network covers all parts of the world and allows you to fly to 160 destinations around the world with convenient connections in Dubai. On the way, passengers traveling with Emirates may stay in Dubai for a few days.

For nine months of 2018 airline Emirates served 121 thousands of passengers in Pulkovo, that on 6% higher than for the same period of 2017. Airline operates daily flights from Saint Petersburg to Dubai on Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 777-200LR.

Emirates is the world’s largest operator of Airbus A380: 105 liners are in the operation and 57 are ordered.
