On May 13, 2019, an experimental MS-21-300 aircraft, equipped with a passenger cabin, perfomed a flight from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield to Gromov Flight Research Institute “Ramenskoye” (Zhukovsky, Moscow region).
The plane was piloted by a crew consisting of a test pilot of 1st class Vasily Sevastyanov and a Hero of Russia, honored test pilot Roman Taskaev. Flight completed without comment.
The new aircraft will join the two machines, performing flights from the Ramenskoye airfield under the certification test program. In Ulyanovsk, at the enterprise “Spectr-Avia” the aircraft was painted using serial technologies.
